The remaining pathology report did show non-seminoma cancer cells. This is the more aggressive, faster spreading cancer. It seems to make up less than 5% of the cancer, with the majority being the lesser aggressive non-seminoma. This does however change the course of treatment. Because non-seminomas have a higher chance of spread and recurrence, Brandon will definitely have to endure a few rounds of chemotherapy. This is a bummer, but nothing we can't handle. Brandon has been referred to an oncologist at The Hope Center and we have our first appointment on Friday to discuss his treatment plan-of-action.
Brandon is extremely pleased with the results and I can even see the relief in him. We are now thanking God for his mercy and strength. I know this is nothing that He can't handle. And now I am believing in him for a clean bone scan (I mean, the man does love that whole milk!) and for good health and strength for Brandon throughout his treatments. I know this is possible through Him. I know it.
